REVIEW
In the mood for a Philly Cheesesteak, I decided to try out Texadelphia during a recent visit to Oklahoma City with one of my friends. Upon entering the building, I suddenly got the feeling of “Oh, this is a chain restaurant.”
Overlooking the mess on the tables, we sat down to our sandwiches. I had fulfilled my craving with a South Philly and fries. My friend had ordered the Founders sandwich with chips and salsa.
My sandwich was hot and cooked well. The flavors meshed well, it had a good texture, and the bread was fresh. My one complaint would be that the beef was ground. The fries were cooked a little long and lacked seasoning.
The Founders sandwich had a good flavor and, although it had a lot of jalapeños, they were not overpowering. The chips seemed to be straight from a bag and the salsa was sweet with a very mild heat.
Overall, my experience at Texadelphia was a good one and I would recommend it to those in the Bricktown area. Hopefully, as this chain expands, it doesn’t lose sight of quality.
